Pop, pop - clouds explode
Like popcorn, building
Only to fall as
Rain.  Dissipating
As evening sets in,
They slowly drift in
Butter-colored skies.
Lingering on tongue
And eyes, they melt in
The sun.  Summer storms
are delicious treats
every afternoon .. . ...

Great creative expression of clouds...
Yesterday our thunderstorm also melted away into brilliant orange and yellow butter clouds at sunset...

Hey girl! some of that popcorn felt in my garden, a white bunch, hard cold and tasteless, weird people around here called it hail.
The skies are a funny lot.

Hi Karla--they showed a photo on the news today of a cloud that had a remarkable resemblance to a dog, maybe a terrier. They said wto watch out if it lifts its leg. :))
