Poem Artwork

she crawls up into bed,
curls her body next to
mine, licks my nose, purrs in
my ear, then goes to sleep --
this gentle foggy morn.
yes, carl sandburg knew what
he was talking about
when he said that fog comes
in on little cat feet ---
did he call his 'Misty'?

As softly as a mist--I see a soft kitten easing inaudibly in your bed creeping in like a fog. What better place to enjoy a foggy morning than in bed with a fuzzy warm ball tickling your nose. Nice poem.

-- this is indeed a very special poem Karla -- unique and sensitively descriptive -- I love the mood your photo captures and relates to your poem -- God bless -- JMW

This is beautifully and mystically feel Karla! Endearingly written!
Misty ( Is my brothers grey and white tabby) and yours sounds so loveable and sweetened!
I love the frothing of the fog
as it makes it's way on rainy cloudy days
early in the morning as in our beds we lay!

Living on an island most of my life, I just love the fog when it rolls in. There is a mystic feel that just sets the tone for the entire day. "Misty" sounds so cuddly and loveably warm...

Be always safe,

Being a cat lover, myself, Karla, I applaud you and
your pen for this. Sorry, but my purring machine is
currently out of whack. -oh, yes, Dawn is right about
Carl Sandburg and the fog (I think the poem was Chicago).
No matter, spendid write. -gene.

I really like those Foggy Morns; they're much nicer than those stormy nights! I like your poem, too.
