Golden Moonlight Fascination

Golden gleaming, Goddess beaming,
Golden droplets, Goddess Guilded.

Tender waves, shining brightly
Beneath orbs, of golden moonlight.

Light beaming from above,
sending waves of moonlit love.

Moon Goddess reigning glory,
telling a lover's story.

Once upon a moonlit flight,
there rode a brave dark Knight.

Trapped between two worlds,
one of sky and one of earth.

Which world will reign supreme,
all decided from one moonbeam.

The lonely princess longed to see
what the MoonGoddess bestowed upon thee.

The full moon rose upon the shore,
shining like diamonds galore.

The Princess knew this was to be,
the final chance for victory.

She pulled out all the stops,
and vowed to win the moon drops,

that would fall to be the test
and which world would be blessed.

Earth or sky was the choice,
Will the Moon Goddess hear her voice.

"Beautiful Moon Goddess please beware,
of my Knight  that has no fear.

He will choose my earthly beauty,
over your moonbeam duty."

Just as the Princess finished this prayer
The moon became ever so bare.

There was a lunar eclipse that night,
and the two lovers stole into flight,

Fleeing the power of the Moon Goddess,
hoping to have that special caress,

Just as the two lovers became one,
The Moon Goddess tuned toward the sun,

Sun King, I have been deceived,
I need you for a much needed reprieve.

Tomorrow at noon's peak,
you must to the lovers boldly speak.

The morning sunrise gave the lover's cause,
to end their passionate tryst for a pause.

"You have deceived my Moon Goddess last night,
you must go and live in fright,

For when a Moon Goddess has been scorned
all will suffer and be forlorn.

The only way to solve this plight,
is to give the Moon Goddess this dark Knight."

"Sun King, I am ever so humble,
From me you will hear never a rumble.

I will not  give up my Knight,
for he brings me so much delight.

Can we find another solution,
to start this resolution.

I want my Knight, and he wants me,
Oh Sun King can we make her see,

that she is fighting a losing war,
and knows not what is in store.

Princess dear you are so brave,
but you are digging an early grave.

The Moon Goddess reigns supreme,
I shall awaken you from this horrid dream.

Just at that moment she opened her eyes,
to find her Knight a naked surprise!
