Forest Ku
 
The naked forest
Disrobed by autumn’s advance
Welcomes winter’s shawl!
 
Down among the trees
Snow covers the forest floor
Where silence grows deep!
 
Listen to the trees
Revealing nature’s secrets
Hidden in breezes!
 
Stand in the forest
And feel the rhythm of life
Flowing through your heart!
 
With nature be one
And life’s most precious treasures
Will be yours to keep!
 
I have heard trees speak
And I understood their words
Spoken to my heart!

I especially like the first one, Anna. I think many would have more respect for the environment if they went on retreats like the one that inspired these. I also love that sense of being one with nature. Hugs,

Enjoyed this one a lot Anna, as a lover of the woods and outdoors I hae heard the trees speak in all four seasons and know they talk to the heart.

This gave me such a feeling of Peace, Serenity and Hope. For when everything else falls apart...Nature is always there to reassure with charming regularity.. each seasons splendour...Beautifully, gently, and yet so powerfully written...

I was once one with the trees. They tried to speak to me but all I heard was "Bark, Bark, leaf us alone! I tried boughing to them but they sensed that I was the root of the all evil branch of the Patrick Davidians:-)
