As Spring awakens...so do my senses! As I take in all that surrounds me, I'm astounded humanity could so abuse such a goddess!

Poem Artwork

Sometimes you speak to me in whispered tones
In the rustle of gentle breezes on summer days!
Then I hear your delicate voice in birdsongs
Vibrant, lilting tones that warm my heart!
Your fragrant perfume fills the air
Teasing my senses beyond ecstasy!
Roses, lilacs, musky scents pooled
Into unique and enchanting cologne!
Designer attire forever compliments your image.
Colours and fabrics blended into magnificent couture!
Changing seasons testaments to your versatility…
You are always splendid in your gowns!
My eyes are blinded by your brilliance!
Senses intoxicated by your heavenly bouquets!
All that you are I revere!
Mother Nature…goddess abused!

A MOST UNIQUE AND REMARKABLE SHARING THAT REMINDS US OF THE WONDERFUL GIFTS WHICH WE RECEIVE FROM THE 'NATURAL' BEAUTY WHICH SURROUNDS US...YET...NATURE IS SO UNNOTICED AND UNAPPRECIATED BY SO MANY. WELL DONE AND ENJOYED. THANKS YOU. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...

Reminds me of that commercial a few years back..."it isn't nice to fool Mother Nature!" She will have the last laugh but we won't get the joke. Patrick

Oh, yes, Anna, my dear friend. So beautifully stated. And to think that just weeks ago you had to tunnel your way through a tunnel of snow from your front door.

You so easily capture with your wonderful descriptions the beauty that surrounds us daily and we so often take for granted. Love that title.

This is a beautiful gem for Mother's Day, Anna, for our mother earth. You are so right, precious words here, poignantly sad.

I am no longer astounded by our abuse, but I am extremely saddened by it, and I very sadly don't see our massive abuse ending any time soon. If only more could see through eyes like yours.
