Happy Earth Day! Lets make it Earth Day all year long....

We celebrate just once a year Great blessings that we should hold dear One day to cherish every rock and tree Meadows and lakes and the bright blue sea But can we appreciate Mother Earth Can we grasp her amazing worth If only one day is set aside To ensure our eyes are open wide! Earth Day should be all year long We need to change what we’re doing wrong Mother Earth’s in trouble and we’re the reason We use and abuse in every season Our rivers and streams no longer run clear And too many creatures have disappeared We must keep promises that we make The future of Mother Earth’s at stake! © Annabel Sheila

it is sad what we are doing to this planet with all the stuff we put into the air and the wars that men put on others just so they can have more of the world's limited resources-great poem--loved it

The quality of anyone's writing improves the more we rely on nouns and verbs and less on adjective and adverbs. And when it comes from the soul it takes off. Yours soars. A good message well told.

Earth Day should be all year long
We need to change what we�re doing wrong
Mother Earth�s in trouble and we�re the reason
We use and abuse in every season

If only millions more could see what you see, and know what you know.

Each morning, Anna, when I take my early morning walk with my four legged best friend, I so appreciate the beauty around me and, though, there is not much I can do for the good of the world, Bonnie and I do do all that we can to keep our little corner of the world pure and clean... Yes, we do poop pickups, even those of whomever was to lazy or careless to do it themselves.
