The question Why do I write? must be on the minds or at least in the back of the minds of everyone who puts pen to paper and fingers to keyboard. For many it has to be commercial success or at the least commercial acceptance. For others a means of unwinding, or coping, or storytelling for amusement, or capturing feelings and emotions and events to reflect on sometime in the future.
