Blogs by Alex Drinkwater, Jr. Cartoons 2/7/2006 2:08:12 PMI am almost glad that there is such a commotion in the Muslim world about those "insulting" cartoons in the Danish press and reprinted elsewhere. Perhaps the Europeans will finally realize what we in the West are up against. Europeans, like many Americans, are reluctant (to say the least) to defend the Judeo-Christian foundations of western civilization lest they offend someone and break the "rules" of multi-culturalism and "diversity." Well, the "other side" does not play by the same rules. They're right, we're wrong, it's their way or the highway, they know the absolute "truth," we're all merely infidels. God, or Allah, is on their side, not ours.
