The "Democratic" Convention 8/28/2008 6:48:23 AM
Over the last couple of days, the Dems have honored a senator who is an alcoholic and who was responsbible for the death of a girl he was having an affair with (and I say this at the same time I hope Sen. Kennedy fully recovers from his brain tumor. I'm not like those morons at blogs like the Daily Kos and the Huffington Post who "celebrated" the death of Tony Snow.)
Then they honored one of only two presidents of the US who were impeached.
Then they nominated a blowhard senator for VP who was once caught plagerizing in a speech.
And last night they nominated the closest thing to an outright socialist since Henry Wallace in 1948. Tonight they will canonize Saint Barack in the Greek temple they've set up in a football stadium.
During all this, they've characterized the last 8 years as though we've been living in a third-world country in abject poverty and run by a despot.
