Are you reaching out everywhere you can- to get you book out there? Are you looking to local book clubs and even some local fairs? Have you considered putting an ad about your book in the local newspaper? Are you reaching out everywhere you can- to get you book out there? Are you looking to local book clubs and even some local fairs? Have you considered putting an ad about your book in the local newspaper?
Get good quality business cards, the kind that really catch people’s eyes and give them out as “bookmarks” I was doing this at my last book fair and I ran out of them. After the fair, I noticed book sales were way up- I believe it was a direct result of giving out so many of my cards.
Be enthusiastic about your book and talk about it often. Automatically assume that people DO want to find out more about it. Be proud of what you have done. How many people say they would love to write a book but never actually do it- but you did!
Get the word out as much as you can and as often as you can – your writing is worth it!
