Happy New Year to all of you and I hope you have the best year ever.
This New Year let us remember what made us want to write in the first place- the way it makes us feel as the story unfolds as we strike each key- the way that story unfolds in our mind’s eye. The words just seem to flow and take us to a place where we just feel so happy and peaceful- and we know then that we were born to write.
So this New Year, let’s make sure that we make time for it. Let’s sit down and look at our schedules and block off the time. So many things can get us mired down and so many of those thing are trivial, just a result of us letting things get out of hand. But we sometimes let those things take precedent in our lives and before you know it, days go by and nothing gets put to paper.
This New Year, let us make a promise to ourselves to do that thing which brings us so much satisfaction. Let us remember to write. We have that gift, so let’s share it with the world. Happy New Year to all of you and I hope you have the best year ever.
