Why Not? 12/27/2016 7:26:04 AM
Why not give the gift of reading this holiday season? There are so many good books out there to choose from. You know your family and friends, what are they into reading? Some love romance, some non-fiction, some a good murder mystery. And if a person has a place they’ve been to, or absolutely would love to go- how about a coffee table book all about their favorite place?
So many times people pass over the idea of books in favor of a more “trendy” idea they think will go over better. But you can’t go wrong with a good book.
Why not visit your local bookstore this season for some great ideas? Another idea (one that I love) ate adult coloring books. There’s nothing more relaxing than sitting down with a few colorful pencils and a nice coloring book. In fact, many libraries now have coloring groups; people can get together, color and share their work. Or how about a journal? Writing down your thoughts and feelings can be quite helpful, and having a journal right next to you on your desk is a great way to get started. I journal every day and I find it very beneficial.
Remember, holiday gifts don’t have to be expensive; a thoughtful gift is always appreciated.
