Wife’s Embarrassing Moment 2/11/2007 9:53:25 PM
Strange looks from Cashier. Okay, so I manage to embarass myself again tonight. I went to Wal-Mart to get a few things I wanted, and something I needed. I managed to get everything quite quickly, but by the time I got to the checkout they had shut down the registers for 5 minutes, as they do every night at
midnight. I placed my items on the conveyor belt waiting for the register to re-open. As I stood there nonchalauntly, I look at my stuff on the belt and become really embarassed at my selections. These are my
purchases.
1. White sheets.
2. Pink lingerie.
3. Fake rose petals to match said lingerie.
4. Makeup.
5. Box of disposable vinyl gloves.
Item 1-4 were for Valentines day, item 5 was purchased as I was going to give my cats a bath; and I don't care if it's being picky. I don't like to lather up their cat butts with my bare hands, so I always use disposable gloves, not latex (they smell funny) but vinyl. Maybe it's my imagination, but I swear the cashier was giving me funny looks. I
don't even want to even imagine what she was thinking I was planning to do with these items once I got them home.
