Our Freedoms as pictured by Lincoln in the Gettysburg Address Eighty-seven years before Lincoln's Gettysburg Address the founding fathers established the beginning of a new nation never before seen on this planet. It had no kings or popes, no tyrants or Despots, just a people camped within a wilderness of an emerging Promised land. The freedom that came about was born through a yearning for people to be unchained from man's past notion that an individual was fated to be only one class, of three levels-rich-poor or enslaved. A nation conceived in the guise of undreamed of freedoms must now make the leap from an imitation only seen in the mind of liberties son's , not just a piece of useless art; but a reality set in the hearts and minds of our sons and daughters. This great theater of war in Gettysburg has become the smelting pot of values , fired by the hot flashes of smoke and powder, turning red hot the emerging newly varnished sword of a tested Democracy dipped in the blood of all races of our nation. The consecration of this ground has already been done by a gauntlet of men, whom as priests of liberty have sacrificed their very souls, cleansing this land of any gleanings of bondage. This earth will continue to groan with its trials and tribulations, taking this war as a fleeting moment In passing, yet its very soil has engrafted this moment in its nature. The spirit of this battle must now be the catalyst for Unfinished realities to burst force. Our people must now as one undivided nation dedicate ourselves to Sowing the seeds of a new devotion dedicated by dead and living men who share a mutual need to live free. In steadfastness earnestness this unfinished work must be completed so this one nation united by One God whom we hold sacred, does not sacrifice their dead in vain, nor hinder the moment when we all can say "proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family".
