Excuse Me, There’s and Alien At My Window - The Romanek/Peckman Alien Video 5/30/2008 4:54:37 PM
Below are links related to Mr. Peckman’s efforts at presenting a video, filmed by ex-Kansas resident Stan Tiger Romanek, that claims to show an alien peeking into a window that’s about eight feet above the ground.
We all know about the “grays,” right? That they’re supposedly less than five feet in height?
While I WANT TO BELIEVE, and love the pure affect of the video itself, I must shake my head, because to me videos and pictures no longer really do the trick. Today ANYTHING can be faked. Anything. No to mention smeared, bunked, debunked, and aggressively discredited. As far as anything like this would go, there’s only one half-way sure-fire way to prove anything like this, and that’s a close public encounter of the third kind. Period.
But, come on, let’s face it: were I an alien (again [rolling eyes...], the response goes that many feel I just might be one [ha-ha]) I’d be extremely hesitant at giving up the body in any such way, were a body even an issue. Or maybe it’s just the pure principle of the thing. Especially to a primitive (okay, perhaps “up and coming” would make “them” feel better?) race.
After all, why should I?
*I* believe in me.
I wouldn’t feel the need to convince others of my existence. Those that need to already do and those that don’t, it don’t matter. I also wouldn’t want to be probed (as much as humans might feel some perhaps well-justified poetic justice in this), poked, prodded, or be subject to any other similarly “scientifically oriented” examination technique that involves interior viewing and analysis or extraction of bodily fluids.
Yeah, biopsy THIS, Human....
And as to the government knowing and not telling the truth, well, I really like Stanton Friedman’s six reasons listed in his TOP SECRET/MAJIC book (see last link, below, for Stanton’s website), though I really feel items three - five have become overcome by events, because of the maturing and preparation of the Human psyche by all things extraterrestrial.
One really must question what one believes, and why.
Why we DON’T believe.
Do we want to believe because it offers us hope? Someone to help lift us out of our TOTALLY self-induced problems? Someone to talk to in this vast and apparently uninhabited blackness of our universe? And what would happen if we did experience proof? Would we revere them? Deify them?
Witch hunt them?
We seem to have a propensity for both.
To others it’s simply a non issue. We have sick children and a job to go to in the morning. Would any such knowledge or experience change any of this? Make MY life better? How would it affect ME? A race full of MEs?
Mysteries make our lives interesting. Make our minds reach out. Think outside the box. Yes, I believe in extraterrestrials, and I’d appreciate all those out there who do not to discuss their points of view rationally without laughter and belligerence, or respectfully allow us to go our own way.
Do I make fun of your religion? Something about which YOU cannot see? Do I make fun of your points of view on anything else? No, I allow you your beliefs and your points of view. Please allow myself and those like me the same respect.
So, I ask, WHY do others make fun of a belief in extraterrestrial life?
Fear? Sport? Great newscopy or soundbites?
Think about that for a while.
Maybe there really is a conspiracy, after all, huh?
