Who runs the world?
The Bilderbergers, the Citi Banks, and the Chase Manhattans, through the auspices of the Freemasons, Rosicrucians, and Council of Foreign relations?
Or is the reverse true?
Does it matter?
IMHO I believe “they” (being “them”) could care less what is written about them because it adds to information, disinformation, or perhaps even their very own mystique. Whatever the reason I was appalled at what I’d read in Jim Marrs’ book, Rule By Secrecy (see first link, below). He talks about all of these organizations and more. The first half of the book talked about how the above-mentioned (and more) globally affluent appear to run the world...and not in a good way. In fact, I was disgusted, if half--heck, a quarter of this book--is true. All wars are engineered, all depressions, recessions, and political upsets--engineered.
Why?
Well, that is the ultimate question, but it appears the standard answer is power. World domination. Some sort of “New World Order.” Mr. Marrs takes a stab at what he thinks it is, and I hesitate to state it in this posting, because it’s so fricking out there, so “unreal” (read the last 40 or so pages of his book), but it involves some 500,000+ recently discovered (as of 2001) ancient Sumerian cuneiform tablets that relate a story about a “passing planet,” called Nibiru (did you know that “planet” is derived from the ancient Greek meaning “wandering” or “wanderer”?) and its moons--that is actually part of our solar system, and has a 3,600-year orbital period. In other words Nibiru’s “year” is 3,600 of our Earth years. Basically they, who the Sumerians called the Anunnaki (“Those Who Came To Earth From Heaven”), created humanity some 450,000 years ago (plus or minus) to mine some resources for them (gold) to help keep their atmosphere in place (Marrs cites scientific support of this). The inference seems to be that the Anunnaki are to return to Earth “soon” and their planet will again wreak havoc upon ours as it has in the past (think ice age), and we need to be prepared.
Now, you may all laugh at this, but think about religions. They, too, have elements of the fantastic, whether it involves giant turtles with the weight of planets on its back, holy men fighting off airborne demons, walking on water, or rising from the dead. It’s all a matter of degree and belief. I don’t know necessarily throw all this out, because I’m sure there might be some truth to the information that scribes spent their lives imparting onto some of those 500,000+ cuneiform clay tablets that also happens to detail the most intricate minutiae of daily Sumerian life, according to Mr. Marrs.
I also read Stanton Friedman’s newest work, Flying Saucers and Science (see second link, below), and Dr. Paul LaViolette’s Secrets of Antigravity Propulsion (see third link, below). This last book, let me just say, if you have no scientific background whatsoever you will be EXTREMELY hard pressed to get through. It’s actually quite technical (and he doesn’t even give you all of the nitty-gritty formulas), and is a rather thorough discussion on the history of “new physics,” or “classified physics” (according to his book, this physics is boundary breaking physics not limited by traditional thought, and given free reign in the highly classified world of black program development and operation). You’d think “physics is physics,” right? Silly human. There are probably all of about 25 pages of the over 500 dealing with material in this book that would be understandable by a nonphysics person. Perhaps I jest, but I haven’t used any of my physics since graduating college over 20 years ago, and it was difficult for me.
I digress.
The point is that all these books dovetailed nicely into each other. Together they tell a tale of a supposedly covertly manipulated world. Mr. Friedman is continuing the “good fight” for public governmental UFO disclosure, while also discussing more about things like his view of space flight, the “cult” of SETI, how several well-known science fiction writers seem to rail against all-things UFO (which highly surprises me!), UFOs and public opinions, how more intelligent people tend to believe in UFOs versus those less-schooled, and of course, Roswell updates. Mr. LaViolette gets down and dirty about a little sum’in sum’in called electrogravitics and subquantum kinetics (see final link, below), and the government’s utilization of it. Essentially, electrogravitics and subquantum kinetics deal with the polarizing effects of nonlinear electric fields in totally canceling out gravity (and has been around since the 1920s and 30s, plus or minus). Yeah, you read that right. Dr. LaViolette also claims to have reverse-engineered the B2 bomber, claiming that it is the first aircraft to actually employ antigravity physics. He spins a fascinating and most convincing argument, indeed. But the discussion of this “new ether physics” and its “Model G formulation” are absolutely riveting in their implications regarding faster-than-light travel...and this: subquantum kinetics being an open system that allows for the possibility for ORDER to emerge from DISORDER.
Man, I really loved that part of the book.
Dr. LaViolette also discusses, on page 396 of the cloth copy of Secrets of Antigravity Propulsion, about a no-holds-barred meeting of generals for a small group of Civil Air Patrol Mitchelson Award winners, in 1963. When directly asked about UFOS, the generals come out and said that they knew of “people out there,” but didn’t know very much about them, and that they had systems in place such as satellites, and--later in the book we find, “nonterrestrial astronauts”--who are watching over Earth. These generals also mentioned that they had “ways of taking care of people” who talked, from threats to out-and-out violence. He, too, details how the generals told their young audience that they could “go ahead and talk,” because “no one would believe you.”
Though some of this reading paints a dark picture of secret societies vying and/or colluding for control of Earth, being financed by the Rothschilds et al, for a purpose Marrs can only fantastically surmise/relate, Marrs also states that knowledge is power and the more who know and understand this, the better, because, ultimately, there are more of “us” then there are of them. And “they” have been stopped before by public opinion and action.
Well, all I know is that it made for most interesting reading, and it does make you look at world events quite differently, even if you don’t believe all of what you’ve just read:

The Federal Reserve Bank--and an almost globally crippling $500 billion dollar withdrawal?!
UFOs flying over Obama’s inauguration.
Billon dollar bailouts.
Depressions/recessions.
What’s real, what’s hyped, and what’s a cover or disinformation?
I certainly don’t know. And I think that’s exactly the way those in-the-know want it.
