Tired, uninspired, mind occupied elsewhere, you name it. What's the best thing to do? At times like this, put one foot of the other and go for it, whether the mile or miles you had planned or the laps at the nearby track. You may not make it all the way, or even a chunk of the way, perhaps even walk back, but upon hindsight the effort turned out to be worth it.
