They're worth their weight in prime rib As a devoted author and avid reader, being a member of book clubs rewards me in both respects. As an author, reading the work of others invites exposure to different writing styles, nuances, word choices, plots, stories, and characters. As a reader, the three book clubs I belong to have opened my eyes to books and genres I would otherwise not have known about or been drawn to.
