The Children, Part 7

A story of make-believe, or is it?
Several of the children's favorite friends are the family vehicle, a Ford Fusion named Ruby, and Snow Tires, the winter tires who are particularly happy this year with all the snow we've been having. It had been a long dry spell in recent winters but more than made up for this year.
Moth, another of their friends and who never met a vehicle she didn't like, has been taking out Ruby at night when the snow was falling and the family sound asleep. She attaches a trailer to bring the children along and they joyfully sing songs and eat all manner of food supplied by their matriarch, the Bee, and patriarch, Lucky Monkey. They drive through the city and up into the mountains and Snow Tires plow through it all like a stroll on a summer's day. Of course, there are Summer Tires for that season, but that's another story.
Lucky Monkey often drives ahead in a large snow plow to clear away any impassible drifts, the Bee beside him, and Reindeer, Bird, Bode, and Shparrow positioned appropriately to tell of dangerous conditions ahead which are all the more welcome.
Whenever anyone complains about winter driving conditions, these friends one and all laugh and say they don't know what they're missing. Instead they cry out as one, "Bring It!"
