Attempting a little humor for Katy : )
Witty Words I’ve always liked the witty things So many people say Some I’ve tried to remember And I’ll share with you today A friend of mine had one he told Though it seemed somewhat absurd He said I should remember “A chicken’s no more than a bird” To “Call a spade a spade” Was one to me that seemed real keen Especially if you want someone To know just what you mean And then my all time favorite Deals with letting problems slide The way we’ll do the simple fix While the true cause is denied The witty way to speak of this Is not all that involved “If your butt itches, wash it” And then the problem’s solved © Jack Roberts – April 20, 2003

My favorite poems are always humerous. I can think of many favorite sayings perhaps one day I'll try putting some of them in a poem.
My Grandmother had a lot of sayings I remembered well. Never knew where she got them from until years after she died and then I read the Bible for the first time.
