*Transcendental Sonnet #1220:* *OK by Me! Howzabout You?* *Auferstanden aus Ruinen* *I think I have gotten ahold of myself again now* *The beginning of this recovery* *Was when a fellow poet wrote to me* *That she hoped for me to be Poet of the Year somehow* *I was unaware there was such a thing* *But I must admit it has a nice ring* *To it and I would be glad to do it* *If anyone asked me to but wonder what one must do* *I imagine one just writes poetry* *If that is the case that sounds right for me* *And as an added benefit this would keep me alive* *As I would want to serve the whole year of 2005* *It seems like something I could do...* *OK by me!
