"Who has the key to come and unlock me?"

Poem Artwork

Enigma

for Heartshope Kandaroo: my heart to yours

They say ghosts do not know that they are dead

Just like I never realize my age

Said to be fifty but thirteen instead

Struggling with budding adolescent rage

I want to live and to live in the now

And I feel like I just got here somehow

Because of my anorexia I

Actually only look about thirteen

And will never grow up before I die

Other anorexics know what I mean

But everyone has died and left me here

Without them now to cope with life alone

Depression crushes me panic and fear

I am an enigma known yet unknown

Normal people laugh at me and mock me

Who has the key to come and unlock me?

+Stevie

Only you hold the keys my friend and the ability to open whatever doors you so chose whether it be to your inner mind, your tormented imprissoned soul, or your wild and reckless heart. Guard them well and use them wisely being sure who you lend them out to.
Felix
