Yesterday cold and rainy but sunny
And clear today the weather is funny
Something in the air neither here nor there
Handel's Messiah on the BBC

Winter sunbeam through the window to me
And in the dance of its light I wonder
To see the phoenix spoken by thunder
Whispering here winkingly appear as
A visitation of another kind

Sunbeam through the window find me
Fall and all before behind me

Being revealing to me as it has
Within the grin the skull beneath the skin
Embraces under the faces of those
Like me of we who see alike who chose
Through hope in spite of everything to find
The wonders waiting underneath the snow
Of fate to bloom for us who care to know
What we have known was sown there long ago

Where you and I being alike agree
After awhile to see it as a smile
Through open minds who dare to go behind
The mask to ask to be or not to be
Beyond the door to what we came here for

Sunbeam through the door I enter
At the solstice of my winter

For ancient people the solstice had great meaning because their lives depended on the very whim of the seasons. From this poem, I see that you are carrying on the mystique.
