This poem is about my trip to an observation tower outside Galena, IL in 2005. I was having trouble coming up with a vacation poem that year, but a climb to the top of the tower and a view of the are near the highest point in that state took care of that. I've got another one in me and I'll get to it one of these days, but for now bear with me.
Yes, I touched it once and somebody up there took a bite.
Comfy here, yet, dutifully ducking when someone up there hawks with a thunder.
But I see you point, nice, but don't tell it to the ones with fear of highs.
Please, share the other one.
