There is a point along a local nature trail that winds through a very narrow, steep sided canyon. The stream erosion has sculpted some very interesting features. To me, this protruding stone formation resembles a Shogun in full battle dress.

Ahh, if only every outcrop whose cryptic geological significance that we had to decipher bore such beautiful mnemonic devices. It's nice to see how your rock-steady roots influence your modern poesy.
I really understand what you're saying here, ol' pal because there is a large rock formation about a half mile south of the 101, as one heads north on Kanan Road, that, I swear, looks just like Snoopy sitting on his doghouse watching for the "Bloody Red Baron of Germany" ... Really! As a matter of fact, I call it Mt. Snoopy.
