Here in Washington, DC...it's our time

Pressing on

Poem Artwork

Tiny particles...

of melting lace that comes from

above...a solace

***

A blanket of white...

so quickly darkens to slush

changing...a fair sight

***

Then layer of cold...

fills the streets so very bold

but melts...with sun's glow

***

Memories linger

bringing to mind...white lace...and

...tiny particles

I miss the magic of sunlight on freshly fallen snow. Very nicely expressed, Joyce. Love and best wishes,

A time for all things, Joyce; we enjoy each phenomenon in season and when that season is visited upon us. Blessed are the eyes that see and appreciate each one. lovely meditation. xx

Very good Joyce. I especially like the first one and your reference to snow as "melting lace"... beautiful.
