The Widow

A widow dies
Our lives crossed
Each other's paths
I've conspired
To her death.
~~*~~

She has invaded
My domain
With venom fears
Of legends
Folk tales and myths
Yet true to life.
~~*~~

I fear no one
And respect all
From a distance allowed
My lonely sweet dear.
~~*~~

You have squatted
Spinning your web
Of no return
My grandchildren,
Play here.
~~*~~

So to you
My one time friend
I render my farewell
Psssssssssss!!
