To improve life in under-developed countries, change of leadership should be the highest priority concern. That is the way I see to end the mess in those countries.
When corruption is rampant
Chaos is just in the offing
Clash of forces come next
Leadership is like the heart
It has to be clean and efficient
It has to be clear and transparent
If the heart lacks real compassion
It will only breed hatred
And hatred leads to conflict
Where there is bad leadership
There is disease and hunger
There is widespread poverty
There is war.

War is sometimes a necessary evil. A good and very feeling write.

So true, Abdi-Noor, unfortunately, it often takes war to unseat the incumbent, bad leadership. Hopefully war will always be a means to a peaceful end, though it certainly doesn't always pan out that way. Excellent writing!
