The Arab League-backed Somali Islamic Courts have captured the Southern port town of Kismayo and may possibly advance to other regions. The African Union backed Transitional Government of Somalia has requested Peace keeping troops to restore order in Somalia. Together with these troops the Government may move towards the courts and that would cause huge human and material loss. I repost this prayer as I see no better words I can compose to fit to this situation in which all parties are in a war footing.

When the gap gets wider
when the rift grows deeper
When tension builds stronger
clash is an inescapable conclusion
