Two rockets have landed at my backyard taking the life of innocent and defenseless civilians when war flared up between Ethiopian backed government forces and unknown but largely believed to be Islamic Courts remnants. Our area has been safe for some time but now we started receiving our share of the strayed rockets.
Forgive me please for writing only and not reading your work as often as I did before. Afterall I am a peace poet in the middle of war wishing peace for all mankind wherever they stay and whatever religion they believe in.
If you are fighting
Don't be too harsh
Observe the rules of war
Hide not behind the people
Make not the city a battlefield
If you are a human being
Forget not humanity
Think of the civilian casualty
But if you are a monster
A bloodsucker and a beast
Do whatever you want
The irresistable force
Of people's will-power
Shall one day stop you
You are a real loser
Trying to evoke fear
Fear has no face of its own
It takes the face of the coward
The one you are putting on now

Abdi-Noor, remain strong ad protect your people; your strength as a source of peace is being tested so strongly now. All around the world, you have brothers and sisters who pray for you and all Somalia in her agony..
We will always be here for you, you must know that; if only we could be there to comfort and help... with you in spirit and hope and trust this insanity will end.
Do whatever you want
The irresistable force
Of people's will-power
Shall one day stop you
You are a real loser!
They are indeed losers. We will overcome one day. The peacemakers will have the final victory. Stay safe Abdinoor. You are an invaluable asset to the Somali people in particular and humanity in general. God save you.
Abdi-Noor, know that many pray for peace in your land and indeed the world. You have aptly summed up the face of fear in the last four lines of your poem.
"Fear has no face of its own
It takes the face of the coward
The one you are putting on now"
May our loving Father cover you and yours with His loving wings of protection.
It is always an indeed pleasure to read such fine well written artistic work. I love coming out to my favorite den where you all inspire me so much every day. What I read share and know is such a wonderful view. Stay focused and always write on.
All war is horrendous, but modern warfare seems totally barbaric, and yet some claim mankind has advanced. I truly think concerning warfare we are sliding way back - towards oblivion.
