Some people get by
(I never did ... sigh)
though horsin' around.
Things show on my face,
leave me in disgrace ...
that horsin' around!
It's said, "What you do
will return, haunt you."
I've found it is true .
Others can monkey,
boast like a donkey ...
they haven't my face.
When happy I grin;
when torn, grimace, spin ...
a beauty (has-been)
I tend to 'hee-haw';
nobody goes 'ahhhh'
when ones' face is horse.
They nod, secrets shout ...
your horsin' is 'out'!
My mate's left, of course!
Cursed deeply, with curves,
to steel all my nerves,
broke all my vows ... words.
My punishment worn--
on my face is borne--
the guise of a horse.
Believe me, I know
that one's sins do show.
I can't change my course.
Still ... men come around,
don't look 'up' but 'down'--
my current beau's hound!
Some people get by
(I never did ... sigh)
though horsin'around.
Things show on my face,
leave me in disgrace ...
that horsin' around!
Well always thought my poker face could cover it up here but seems maybe you have given me some thoughts abut this horsin around,
