Mousey Minerva had quite a tail
had quite an odor
and had quite a smell.
Her itchy, black, shriveled nose quivered
stopped-up, shivered,
scent undelivered.
A little bit cheeky, too cheesy,
Tom stopped chasing her … too queasy.
Her nest, a doll, Mrs. Beasley.
Mousey Minerva wanted a beau
wanted passion.
All rats said, “GO! BLOW!”
When she blew her nose, her stench was RIPE,
her stench was crude,
and that stench their gripe!
Minerva bathed and doused on perfume.
Rats came flocking. The bride found her groom!
With all their children, ran out of room.
Mousey Minerva sought time alone,
sought time for fun,
was worked to the bone.
Without medicine, her nose blocked up,
her scent didn’t work,
but, oh, did she smell.
Hubby walked out. The kids wouldn’t stay
but ran to grandparents to work, play.
She couldn’t wipe her smile away.
Mousey Minerva told quite a tale,
had quite an odor.
Oh, Lord, did she smell!
Her itchy, black, shriveled nose quivered
stopped-up, shivered,
scent undelivered.
She lived quite cheeky … so cheesy.
The cat ran away … always queasy.
She nestled, content, in old Beasley.
