Too many kernals and not enough corn.
I do wish my ears worked, sometimes, like yorn.
My hair has been silky afore I was borne.
My ears are eyes ... what a surprise;
beware of stalks just bearing lies.
Please quinch my thirst, I live in the sun.
Truly, I'm roasting while others have fun.
When I am buttered, burn.
Sometimes shucked ... life's done.
Nibble my ears, excitement gears
juices, lotions, into my ears!
I like hanging 'round the farm. The scarecrow
dances, totters, teases when the wind blows.

The crows caw me horrid stories
about other fields, ears stripped, gory.

It keeps out the dust and worms. I trust
my knight in shining armor to save ears, us.
A piglet comes snorting, I wig.
It's not my due to dance this gig.
Where is my Colonel, high flyer with MIG?
I won't be fodder for fattening pigs!
Come, hold me closer. Do you prefer fig?
Nibble, leer, as you hold me dear;
I'm all ears!
A naïve councilman and a down-on-her-luck single mom try to save their county’s last stand of forest from greedy developers and a dysfunctional government.
