Imagine yourself as a raindrop. I did. (Art/poem by me.) ****************

Droplet That I Am Droplet that I am face down in the sand, etched in each grain, my soul ebbs, has depth. Do you think it will rain? Droplet that I am wallow in water with choking refrain. I look up to ask, Do you think it will rain? Droplet that I am, animals lap me. On some I have lain— then evaporate. Do you think it will rain? Droplet … can I drown landing upside down? Velvety I cruise with nothing to lose. Do you think it will rain? Droplet, I’m exposed to all things. Suppose the beach is the best for droplets to rest. Do you think it will rain? Don’t walk where I’ve lain lest I’ve dropped in vain. Thus, pray it won’t rain. copyright 2007 Sandra S. Corona

Beautiful imaginary mind you do have. I think the beach is best as you say to let that droplt stay. Just loved this write.
