Relationships require a HUGE sense of humor. I'm not the jealous or 'clingy' type; doors swing both ways.
You say, “Women,
they’re a dime-a-dozen
and you’ve got dozens of dimes.”
But who the heck is listenin’
to the dime-a-dozen man?
Oh, that red-head
with her décolletage top
and her short-shorts form-fitting
following you and purring.
“I don’t care if you’re married.”
Oh, that woman!
Her kind’s a dime-a-dozen
and men have plenty of dimes.
I’m rare--one in a million--
with a dime-a-dozen man.
Buying pizza
you met another woman
who asked where you were living.
“Oh, that’s where I am moving.
Would you come for Thanksgiving?”
Oh, that woman!
She’s fifty cents a dozen
but the widow is brazen.
You must be giving signs you’re
free because you don’t ignore.
When last working
your ‘friend’ wasn’t joking
with the card she sent of nudes.
Her ‘invitation’ was crude;
as your wife, I found it ‘rude’.
You say, “Women
are a dime-a-dozen.
Don’t forget that you’re married
to . . . one-in-a-million . . . rare
for a dime-a-dozen man.
Yeah, baby!!! Very creative, Sandra, it reads wonderfully, angsty and humrous, but with that core of sadness that dime-a-dozen men bring to the women of their wedding rings...
Throw him out the door and let him get those for a dime a dozen. We know what we're worth. Men call us sinner for reasons that's in their heads anyway.
The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
Fractured Frazzled Folk Fables and Fairy Farces is adult literature that satirizes famous children's stories, fables and fairy tales. The work is Jay Dubya's twenty-first e-book available in Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook.
