The Nightmare

Pray for Peace.

Hide, be quiet don't make a sound.
The evil is coming.
The baby cries in hunger as his mom tries to comfort him.
A huge bang, a loud crash!
The five year old cries terrified.
"Why oh Why is this happening to us?
I'm so scared the evil will kill us."
The mother holds her hand over the children's mouths so they don't utter a sound. They whimper with fright afraid they will lose their home, their father and all their family and friends.
The soldiers forcefully enter the home with their bodies loaded down with weapons. The chidren scream in terror not understanding the language of the evil. They cry terrified as their father is dragged off by huge men loaded down with weapons. The boy wakes and realises a boy his age is living this nightmare. He cries praying with his mother.

I do not want anyone to think I don't respect the troops. I do. I pray for them all the time. I honor them for doing their job. Peace is a wonderful thing and I believe they are trying to work toward a more peaceful world for all of us.

Thank you're lucky stars that this is happening and that the little boy will grow up free.
