As I sit here on top of a tree shaded hill
My heart is at peace within itself
Away from the strife of the concrete city
and in the midst of nature’s shelf
Overhead the sun is warm
and a cool breeze is floating by
sending dandelions into flight
Rustling the leaves with a sigh
And I hear the sounds of
a rippling brook slowly moving by
And it’s so peaceful here
on this floor of leaves that I decide to lie
Surely nothing can beat Nature’s
Cures for life’s stress, sighs and wear
so it pays to get away from it all
and rest in Nature’s care
