I hear you singing out your desire

heart battered and bruised, torn in two,

of a Dear John or some other Romeo

I thought of a title for you

Your next song should be I think

" Maybe it's my problem " you see,

we've all heard what the guys did

but how about your dating history?

And -" We're never ever getting back  together"

singing like this-no one will date you at all

guys will just see you as trouble

to join other walllflower's in a lonely hall

I mean you're beautiful, smart, funny

creative and o so very rich,

but after that 1st hit song

I just thought you sound like a real Witch

It's probably a way to make millions

you're probably sweeter in person as well,

I hope true Love will come to you

I'd like to hear more than love songs that sell

You're creative, a Juliette for some lucky guy

but you could be the problem too,

this poem isn't written to be harsh

just a poet who wants more from you

So I'll keep listening to your voice

never bought your new CD-Red,

"Maybe I'm the problem" is a new song

I wish you well-nothing more to be said

Leo! Buy the freakin' cd! Haha! She writes more than silly love songs. She actually knows how to write interesting works. I'm not sure that she will ever be a top diva because she does know how to write! Okay...so I like most of her songs. The cheesy songs make the charts.

Peace

Right now she's into teenage fantasy, but I think she will mature into one of the great country divas like Reba. I don't see the point in writing poems about the celebrity we really don't know except from what we see of them on stage and from promos and gossip.

Taylor seems to me to be a very genuine hard-working songwriter. There doesn't seem to be an ounce of vindictiveness or hatred of any kind.

I'm soooooo with you on this one....I don't understand the reason for her popularity...or any of the other pop divas either!! They all sound the same...it's not about talent anymore apparently!

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
