One with Nature…
Yes to be one with Nature,
A veritable enigma for those of us unknowing,
Is it possible, is it probable, is it plausible?
Are we able to achieve this oneness with Nature we seek?
To do so, requires many eons of learning, to first be at one with the self,
Is to then become at one without the self,
Nature, the universe, all we must be at one with to find ourselves…
To be at one with a tree, for example, we must become that tree,
Feel it sway and creak as aged it becomes,
Feel its roots running deep within the ground, sucking up moisture,
Feeling its leaves grow green in the spring, to fall away in the fall, the pain of a mother…
To be one with the sky, we must try to experience that sky,
To feel the pain of acid rain; produced by man so much to blame,
To see ones clouds emit, lightening & thunder, to rain down on mans world, his blunders…
To become one with the ocean so blue, to feel her pain,
When man dumps his toxic waste, thinking no one will know as to who did drain,
That which will give strain to the oceans ecological bio-system, but it is plain,
It is man that destroys, man that brings death, man that kills other men,
He, the only animal, that kills for pleasure, he will feel pain someday,
From the toxins he has dumped in poor Mother Ocean,
Believe me for this is herein what I say…
To be one with Nature, a foolhardy task, as man cannot do so, unless he wears a mask,
For Nature knows the culprit, the destroyer of worlds, within his own,
She will never allow man to be one with her, as long as he simultaneously kills,
Without so much as word of praise for those that he has murdered, & still…

Love Tinka
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
Even out here in the boonies, where I have lived for many years,
I see whole forests cut and shredded, to make room for one more
cluttery house and yard, or dozens of houses, or a business...
Whatever the reason, as both a photographer and a nature-lover, tears
come to my eyes when I see what I once captured on film...lying in
pieces on the ground. If animals and birds could cry...they would, too.
