Lost in the Wood,
Lost are we in the wood,
Crawling all around,
Not a single trail to be found,
I am in front, no better behind,
We are all lost in the wood,
Wish our rescuers would find.
Ah a space to see daylight,
Could this be the road, yes the one that is right?
Up we go, we climb and climb, and it does get bright,
All of a sudden the light does dissipate,
In its place a long red carpet, looking to be quite inviting,
Smelling also of sweetness and something to be biting.
Look out; all spread out, run, run, get away from that thing,
It is a tongue, a long red tongue of an anteater, foraging for a daily meal,
We are its dinner, its lunch or whatever, are we not in luck?
No we are about to be eaten,
Even though we found how to get unstuck…
