Fiction, but it "could" happen "couldn't it...?

JUNES SNOWSTORM…

The snow it did blow through,

Like a train on an express track,

Speed, it was, a roar of sound,

With wind drifting it across the ground,

Standing was a chore, Walking harder still,

Better to wait it out, in the relative safety of a house so stout…

Cold was the wind, so much so the snow did freeze upon settling,

Was this Natures pay back for the way man did screw up, yes meddling?

No prior forecast was made herein; yes that is such a sin,

Most were unaware of its forthcoming power,

All they could do was stay inside and cower…

The storm did last three days and nights,

When it was all said and done, six feet of snow did fall,

Many without power, many without food, many without heat,

This storm did take us all by surprise,

As it happened, it did, in June, just before the temps did rise,

Floods did come for weeks beyond, snow melt, no place for it to go…

Never will we again take for granted,

Natures lack of wrath, winter being passed,

time for flowers to be planted,

All did die, the cold snow did the murder,

This cold winters blast, did surpass all prior…

Did this happen at the North Pole? Snow in June is just wrong.
I think it would actually cause me to stampede for at the least, not be able to enjoy my cud.
Nice work here.

This could be a prelude to the Biblical Apocalypse, Ed, or to the next Great Flood, as in the Great Flood in Noah's time.

If this is a recurring dream you are having, I really suggest that you equip that motor home of yours with those pontoons we talked about - before it's too late.

PS After you get those pontoons welded on, go out and pick up any and all cats, dogs, frogs, snakes, and bugs you can find, and bring them inside.

The fate of the world - may depend on you. Awesome! And Good Luck!

Terrorforming Your Environment by RickthePoetWarrior

Never to leave well enough alone our attempts at managing our society, culture, and environment are recycled, re-used, and just generally regurgitated
