I brake for loonies, my bumper sticker does tell all...

Poem Artwork

I brake for loonies…

Especially those from the boonies,

Like that anna lady that writes so funny,

I do brake for all of them, yea I do honey,

I do so whether it is cloudy or sunny,

Whether my brakes work or not, hey I am not tryin’ to be funny…

Loonies are so easy to break, so I have to keep my brakes in top form,

They run around during electrical storms, I am herein tryin’ to inform,

Sometimes, but it is not the norm, they do run around in swarms,

As always never do they ever conform, they ran away from their rubber dorms…

They only get out every so often,

As their jackets that zip in the back hold them well,

I am really here to let you know about this plague, yes I am here to tell,

They are out there, one in Wisconsin for sure, freely admit will she, no need to sell,

Only the right drugs are needed by these loonies, then they will be quelled…

So if you are driving one night, late, near a cemetary and you hear howling,

Stay in your car, yes lock all your doors, don’t get out and go prowling,

As you may be mistaken for one of these loonies,

Taken from there back to their rubber room and given “treatments”,

“We are here to help you dear, don’t worry, this won’t hurt a bit…”

Electric shock given to the organ of choice, not your choice of course,

Oh yes, they will be given to you no matter what you want, yes they use force,

How do I know about all this? Do I have, an inside a source?

Been there, done that, been released, or was it they never caught me…?

They can find me living with Mr. Ed, yes that one, the horse…

First, you delightfully 'roast toast' the Lavender Loony from Wisconsin, and now, now, HMMM!!!!!

PS I thought we agreed that you would never tell anyone that I am The Man Called Horse.

Dear Rufus, keep your eye on your master! Give him a break on the brakes. He may be chasing himself. Bill

Ed,

I would pay a million bucks to see your brain under a micrscope some day.......I am dying to know what a close up inspection would reveal. :)

Poignant, funny, sad, and true. I love how you use humor to touch on a difficult subject.

~Rose~ Kisses to Rufuz!
