Nature does not need mans help in creating beauty...

Poem Artwork

Sparkling Diamonds…

Ole sol’s rays, reflecting off the ocean today,

Sparkling diamonds do not do justice,

To the ocean and sun in all their glory,

A jeweler of any ilk, knows they cannot duplicate,

The ocean & sun in combination within their respective inventory…

No none of Nature can be duplicated by the hand of man,

He does try, making his own sanctuaries from scratch,

But he does Nature poorly, in comparison to the one and only,

Nature, the ocean and the sun, all combine to bring to man beauty & fun…

I think that not one diamond, nor ten thousand, is worth anything Nature can do,

Nature does create a gallery of paintings, more than any Van Gogh could be worth,

We as men, the dominant species herein, do try to duplicate that beauty,

Falling way short of the mark, as Nature has experience & the gods to back her up…

How lovely, Ed!! This is a special side of you, not seen so often, and it is full of your sensitivity and appreciation of Nature. My favorite, now, of yours. :) You are a sweetheart and gentleman, funny and open, and make a great friend. Thank you for that...

Sometimes I see sparkling diamonds when I stand up too fast.

But Ed, there's only one place such beauty can be duplicated. And that is the eyes of a beautiful woman.
