What a Weird Looking Sky this Morning…

A little rain we have just had,

Now the sun does try to rise,

Out of the ocean it does seem to come,

To make an early morning red hue,

To make our sky this morning oh so weird…

Maybe I should get up earlier to witness the sunrise,

Sometimes it seems to do so would evoke my demise,

As not enough sleep will make me while driving, close my eyes,

And we cannot have that, for I may find a tree too fat…

Never have I seen a sky in such an odd color,

This early in morning, even with clouds all puffed with rain,

Bodes a rather bad day on the ocean for fishing; I try to explain,

Wanted to fight the waves, the rough surf of the passing storm,

Still do I catch my limit, more so when the ocean is rough,

It seems old mom ocean is in a bad mood today, yes gruff,

Hopefully my explanation herein you find to be enough…
