Drops of Rain…

Forward they do come,

Followed by their brethren from the south,

Attached they are to a hurricane that did succumb,

To the cooler temps and drier air of the Appalachian chain,

Dropping most of its fury on the south and gulf,

We here in the north do not fear its eventual engulf…

Power of Nature we herein again desire to view,

The first rain we have had in ten days about to make its debut,

Always do we need the rain, we are well overdue,

Stating to mom Nature a total and complete thank you…

Wind it is expected, nothing left of Jeanne,

Just rain showers and clouds coming on our scene,

Here’s hoping that the coming rain does not make my home a submarine,

If that should happen life could change to a more obscene routine…
