Deja Vu

Rainy weather we still got,
The storm cannot find its way to the ocean, yes not,
So we live with the rain and enjoy,
For as long as it is here,
Be honest have we really got a choice?

Déjà vu…

The rain has yet to go,

The stormy weather so slow,

Get to work today, oh woe,

But the rain should be gone by then I hope,

Do not mind working in the rain,

It does not for me present a strain,

Weather changes are kinda fun,

Better than all the time seeing the sun…

Cool it has gotten since the front went through,

In some areas they still seem to need a canoe,

The rain it does bring life, yes it does actually renew,

Each rainstorm like the last, sort of like déjà vu…

I to do not mind the rain. When it is a gentle rain or a shower. However, the rain that we had yesterday was a pouring rain. I live in Delaware. In Wilmington we had over 6 & 1/2 inches of rain! I needed something other than a car just to go out to feed my horse!....lol.
I enjoyed your poem though.

Love....Rene' xxoo

I have to agree with Eddie K. on this....
swim, boat, splash around with Rufuz.
You have a good philosophy.

Do not mind working in the rain,

Wonderful philosophy, Ed; rain is truly a blessing, as you poetically point out. Get barefoot and splash around in some puddles with Rufuz!
