The winter winds almost upon us,
The coolness felt through the walls,
Windows shut to keep out the cold,
The sun it may be out but not as bold,
As he is in the months of summer,
This is to be expected, but oh what a bummer…
The leaves have yet to fall off the trees,
The cold already affecting my joints and knees,
A winter quite bad predicted by the bees,
They have built their burrows deep,
This coming winter, heat will not be cheap…
A visit from Mr. Frost this night,
Old Mom Nature sending him to give us a fright,
Just a warning to keep us on our toes,
Be ready you humans before summer warmth does permanently close…

Have a suggestion for you, though. Invite a colony of those bees to live with you in the motorhome all winter. They will provide lots of tasty honey for those delightfully warm bagels and cinnamon toast sticks on those cold cold blustery mornings. And, they don't take up alot of room. You could even place their hive right under your bed - nice and cozy, and very convenient for honey collecting.
