Oceans Breath…

The power of salted air,

The smell of the ocean,

It makes me most aware,

Nothing else can compare…

Life without my ocean,

Is like death without life,

Hate do I to cause a commotion,

But the ocean I do worship,

She does get all my devotion…

Her breath can be felt from afar,

Nothing about her can be considered bizarre,

Oh so many she does have of sand bars,

She is a living organism, attuned to both Nature and the stars…

She is our mother, our one and only guardian angel,

She brought man into this world,

And can take him out with a wave of her hand,

When near my ocean I can do nothing but excel,

She is my home, my love, my life,

She holds the place where I do completely understand…

Wonderful tribute to nature at her best :-) I fully understand the love for water. A few mintues in water and I can heal anything that has harmed me.

She is a living organism, attuned to both Nature and the stars…

Yes, I truly believe she is, as you so poetically do, my friend. But I fear far too many do not in today's world, and she is suffering now, as are many of her marine creatures, from far too much neglect and abuse and pollution.

Hope she remains your muse for a very long time.
