WELL, DUHHHHHHH…

Would not one expect water on the road in the rain?

Can someone please to me explain?

Where do people get their stupidity?

Making a sign that states the obvious, yes the plain…

So many signs are there like this one above,

Some seem to fit us just like the proverbial glove,

While others make so little sense, thereof,

Think this sign should be over a cliff, shoved…

I guess, sick though it may be,

Some don’t realize that water is rain,

And vice versa as apparently they have no brain,

Or perhaps their brain has been burned out by cocaine,

That would give us; I suppose, an explanation about this sign so inane…

Be careful when you go out, Ed. It's also slippery when wet.

Maybe they should change it to say: "Caution: HIGH water on the road during rain". That's probably what they meant. LOL--this is way too funny. I thoroughly enjoy your unique perspective on things.

I happen to like those wacky signs. My favorite was a sign I saw as I drove into the scorched desolate Mojave Desert: 'Caution! There will be no Caution signs, for the next 25 miles!'

Stupid yes...but I think the real meaning to this sign is to warn you of "Pools" of water that can make you lose control of your vehicle if you hit it by surprize...not just the ordinary wet roads...right???

But yes some signs are something to laugh about!!

I am only in a serious mood...not to backchat you okay :)!!

Love Tinka

Really funny, Ed. My husband and I stop at stupid signs and take pictures of each other beside them.
