Rent a discount reindeer…

Christmas a time to spend your dough,

Buying stuff for the kids that you can bestow,

Wanna show them a really good time?

Rent a discount reindeer and some fake snow…

Sure this reindeer does look a bit like a dog,

Better that than looking like a kangaroo,

Or maybe better yet, dress yourself up a giraffe,

Then sit back and drink your home brew from your carafe…

He does not fly,

Nor is he in anyway shy,

He will pull your sleigh,

As you do ride out of sight saying goodbye…

Perhaps this writer should say goodbye as well?

Sometimes he does not write so swell,

He is nothing short of a rogue and rebel,

Please do not call the poetry police on your cell…
